Thanks to the generosity of Julia Laite, the winner of the 2022 Bert Roth Award, we have a $500 grant available for a project that relates to working-class women’s history. Projects can take any form, as well as traditional written outputs (both academic and non-academic) we welcome applications for zines, oral histories, podcasts, comics, and other art forms.

To apply, please provide a short submission (no more than a page) that states:

    • Who you are
    • What the project is
    • Why you think it is significant
    • What the project outcome will be

Please send all applications to lhpcommittee@gmail.com by 30 November. We will advise all applicants of our decision as soon as possible.
